Bonfire Night, Our 2nd Birthday & British Sausage week….

by Sam on September 26, 2009

Thursday November 5th

Finally we’ve survived into our second year (feels like a lifetime, huh?!) well its an appalling excuse to set fire to the already massive pile of wood in the field, to allow a certified pyromaniac the chance, once again, to set off umpteen flashy, noisy things and to eat copious amounts of local sausages (ooer!)- washed down with mulled wine and spice cider!! Yes, folks lets eat, drink and say ooooh/aaah at every limp banger, we can! Here’s hoping we have some weather for it- as ever, entry will be free and parking will be amusing! (aiming to get the fire lit for about 7.00…i think)

Just a little note to say…
A well deserved ‘TAR!!’ to you and all of your staff as every time I come for a truly scrumptious meal they make me feel extremly welcome and relaxed. This means that the whole evening is a chilled out experience and a tummy filling avalanche. Plus give a tremendous thumbs up to the chef as everything served up is mouth-watering and succulent. Thanks again. Hope to see you soon.
Love Emily x x x
P.S. Looking forward to christmas day.

Have visited your public house twice in the past few weeks and been really pleased with the standard of service and quality food and menu you offer. Recommended to a friend from Daventry who has been for mid-week lunch and was most impressed. Looking forward to sharing Thursday the 5th with you for Bonfire night (with friends we will be bringing). Great to have a quality independent pub not far away! (live in Rugby).
